Skills to pay the Bills
I have invested a lot of time and effort into gaining the software skills required to output any animation, illustration or logo design I can come up with. You’ll never be in a position where I can’t deliver your vision in a medium you can use to promote your business.
I play nice with others
I have had experiences (all of them good!) of working in creative teams, as an individual creative in an in-house situation and also as a solo freelancer.
It’s hard to say which I prefer as all have benefits and drawbacks but in every case I got on well with the people I worked with and put this down to good communication skills and an ability to identify with others from different backgrounds.
I thrive on the excitement of freelance projects as every one of them is an opportunity to learn something new about an industry I don’t know about or a culture I have yet to experience. I’m flexible, like a nimble gymnast.
That’s not to say I lounge around in a unitard. I can switch from a logo design project onto a 3D illustration assignment quicker that it would be to actually climb into the aforementioned unitard.
